Fraud Audit Inspector
Job Description:
The WV State Auditor's Office is interested in hiring qualified candidates for the position of fraud audit inspector. This position entails performing various forensic auditing techniques on the financial activities of political subdivisions (counties, municipalities, school boards, magistrate courts, miscellaneous boards and authorities) of the State of West Virginia. There will be an on the job training period of 6 to 12 months. The location of these positions is based on geographic needs of the agency with current openings available throughout the State. Extensive overnight travel may be necessary. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits. Qualified candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in accounting.
