The Communications Division develops and produces informational material for print, radio, television and online
distribution to citizens, agencies and media outlets related to the functions and operations of the West Virginia
State Auditor’s Office. The Communications Division also:
- Creates and distributes media advisories, press releases, newsletters, pamphlets and other informational material for internal and external use
- Designs and operates www.wvsao.gov and ancillary websites
- Produces and directs informational programming and Public Service Announcements for Television and radio
- Represents the Office of State Auditor at educational, civic and other events
- Receives and responds to government and public inquiries
