Topics:   The Auditor’s Office and Library Commission teamed up to promote investor education in West V irginia by sending each library in the state a series of booklets produced by the Investor Protection Trust, American Library Association and Kiplinger’s Personal Finance entitled “Investor Education @ your library.” The commission and Auditor’s Office also set up a training program for area librarians. Secretary Waggoner joined us to talk about libraries in West Virginia and the investor education series.

Topics:   State Auditor Glen B. Gainer III and AARP have teamed up to bring Seniors Against Investor Fraud (SAIF) in West Virginia. This partnership is discussed as well as a new program being worked on for 2007 called Campaign for Wise and Safe Investing, which is another program developed with Investor Protection Trust and the AARP Foundation.
