"Money Matters" will be presented to Hurricane Middle students

Thursday, May 31th 11:41AM to 12:26 PM and 1:15 PM to 1:56 PM
Where:
Julia Shoffner’s class (7th-8th grades)
Why:
Money Matters offers students of all ages the basics of saving and investing, credit
cards 101, avoiding financial scams, and an interactive stock market game will be
covered at this event. The program is offered by the state Securities Commission,
which is a division of the West Virginia State Auditor’s Office. Since inception,
over 14,000 students and teachers have participated in Money Matters presentations.

presentation.
