Summary: The Division of Veteran’s Affairs recently opened a new 120 bed nursing facility in Clarksburg. The State Dollar brings viewers an inside look at this new center just days before the first veteran was admitted. The West Virginia Veteran’s Nursing Facility brings the latest patient care technology, open architecture and personal touches that will be home for many of our state’s veterans for decades to come. Mr. Linch and Auditor Gainer talk about the new facility and showcase some of these features in this segment.

Summary: The State Auditor’s Office is again pleased to be able to partner with the USMC Foundation and the Toys for Tots program in 2007. Over 4,000 toys were donated by West Virginia State Employees in the Kanawha Valley in 2006.
