The WVSAO is not responsible for the data obtained from “The Property Viewer”.
The WV Property Tax Division annually creates a master surface tax parcel files from the GIS parcel files provided by the county assessors and property attributes from the centralized Integrated Assessment System.
Contact your local assessor about any error you believe exist in the property record information.
The Property Viewer displays surface property only, excluding county court splits. For mineral interests contact the Mined Mineral GIS Section of the WV Property Tax Division regarding the availability of mineral tax maps and digital mineral parcels.
